| 中文摘要 | 目前,国内各类"体育学院"英译名较为混乱,存在同义异译、难以回译、用法错误、语法错误等问题。这既不利于体育院校参与国际文化交流,又不利于体育学术语的规范化和标准化。为解决此问题,从国内各"体育学院"官网采集全部专门体育学院英译名,及部分大学(学院)体育学院英译名,借助翻译学及术语学方法,提供规范的译名建议:本科专门体育学院为"地名+Sports Institute";高职专门体育学院为"地名+Sports Technical College";大学(学院)体育学院为"School of Sport"。; English translations of"Tiyu Xueyuan"in China share some common problems,such as different translations for one word group with the same meaning,back-translation difficulty,usage mistakes and even grammar mistakes.It is necessary to upset the status quo to better international exchange for domestic sports institutes and colleges and to make standardization of sports terms possible.With the methods of back translation and terminology,the writer of this essay collects and analyzes translations of"Tiyu Xueyuan"in China mainland and tries to offer some suitable English translations.This paper strongly recommends"place name+ Sports Institute"for specialized independent"Tiyu Xueyuan"offering bachelor's degree,"place name+ Sports Technical College" for specialized independent"Tiyu Xueyuan"only offering associate degree and"School of Sport"for"Tiyu Xueyuan"as Part of University or College. |
