中文摘要	本文从早期现代主义对坂茂建筑思想形成的影响,不同时期建筑实践过程中对于结构、材料与建构的追求,以及其作品对日本传统建筑空间神韵的展现,来简述其作品思想的演变过程与内在精神特质,并揭示其对同归建筑的社会性和传统性的独特追求。; This thesis examines the transitional progress and inner spirit in Shigeru Ban's architectures by analyzing the formation of his architectural thinking under the influence of early modernism,his varied quests for structure,material and construction in different periods of times,and the embedded spirit of Japanese traditional architecture in his works.An attempt is also made to reveal his unique pursuit for a return to architecture that focuses on tradition and social responsibility.
