中文摘要Shielding failure of lightning is the key problem for safe operation of UHV transmission lines. By taking the features of UHV transmission lines into account, the criterion of upward leader inception is proposed. A model of the evaluation of lightning shielding failure of transmission line based on the leader progress method is established. The model is verified by comparing with the operation data of UHV line in Japan. The shielding future problem of a typical UHVDC transmission lines under different terrian conditions is studied. The research work will be useful for improving the lightning performance of UHV transmission lines.
