中文摘要Conventional structure analysis of electricity market is based on the narrow market efficiency, with some limitations in the comparison of platform between regional uniform market and regional layered market. According to system externality and transaction cost of institutional economics, the social total efficiency is defined and the extended electricity market structure analysis method is established based on it. Two forms of electricity market externality are studied respectively: enlarging the unbalance of interregional economic development and raising the level of electricity price. The effects of transaction cost and security risk on electricity market are also analyzed. The market efficiency, market externality and transaction cost are compared between regional uniform market platform and regional layered market platform. The comprehensive comparison of social total efficiency between them indicates that,as there are great differences in economic development and electrical price between provinces, regional layered market platform has more social total efficiency than regional uniform market platform, and is more suitable for China.
