中文摘要When the separation power, which is used in the traditional uranium separation industry, is applied to a laser isotope separator, its value depends on the feed, product, and waste concentrations. This feature of the separation power can lead to confusion when separation capabilities of two laser isotope separation facilities with different feed, product and waste concentrations are compared. Based on the analysis of laser isotope separator process, a new concept of equivalent separation power is developed in this paper. The equivalent separation power not only improves comparison of separation capabilities of different laser isotope separators, but also can be used to optimize the working state of a laser isotope separation facility.
