中文摘要	A method of calculating total transfer capability (TTC) is proposed for online operation and decision, which can calculate the pessimistic value and optimistic value of TTC at the same time. Firstly, this method uses the continuation power flow (CPF) technique and both of static security and transient stability constraints are considered. Secondly, two power increasing strategies are respectively proposed for the pessimistic value and optimistic TTC calculation by using the sensitivity technology based on power flow and transient energy function. This method can give a more reasonable security vision to the operator. Additionally, the differences of power increasing strategies can be used to the operation decision-making. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed method are demonstrated using the 4-generator 2-area test system and an actual power system in China. The TTC online evaluation module using the proposed method has been embedded in an online early warning and security countermeasure system for real practice.
