中文摘要The study of credible region plays an important role in the assessment of valid range of the approximate transient stability boundary for power system and the characteristic invariant manifolds(CIMs) is an important means for the calculation of credible region. Due to the singularity of related partial differential equations, the corresponding two-dimensional CIMs under classical power system model cannot be solved. The authors analyze the reason causing the singularity, that is, the Jacobian matrix of the dimension-reduction system corresponding to power system classical model possesses real characteristic roots. Thus, an approach to eliminate the singularity of partial differential equations, which exchanges the sequence of original equations and their state variables by linear transform, is proposed. Taking WSCC 4-machine 11-bus test system for example, the coefficients of the terms in high-order Taylor series expansion polynomial of two-dimensional CIMs are calculated successfully. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
