中文摘要Power system splitting (also called as system islanding) is to split an interconnected power grid into several islands when the system is subject to severe disturbances and system integrity can not be hold, so that the continuity of power service on islands can be sustained. As a precondition, feasibility of islanding control must be determined online. Because the essential goal of islanding control is to isolate asynchronous generator groups, the constraint that generators in the same island must keep synchronous plays the most important role. Islanding control is only applicable to the systems that contain notable swing modes among generator groups and have weak connections between these groups. Stemming from this knowledge, this paper proposes several eigen-analysis-based indices, which are necessary conditions, to estimate the feasibility of islanding control to power systems. Case studies are conducted to illustrate and support these indices.
