中文摘要Due to the limitation of array element number, the conventional velocity synthetic aperture radar (VSAR), may suffer from the azimuth location ambiguity and mislocate fast moving targets. To solve this problem,a novel VSAR named MIMO-VSAR and an optimized array configuration of MIMO-VSAR are proposed based on the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar in this paper. Compared with the conventional VSAR, the MIMO-VSAR may greatly increase the spatial sampling rate and extend unambiguous velocity estimation range by transmitting and receiving multiple waveforms simultaneously. Furthermore, the analysis and numerical experiments are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the MIMO-VSAR and its optimal configuration.
