中文摘要 | An urban road cross section design was developed that improved natural water cycling to reduce water shortage in most cities in northern and northwestern China. In addition to providing transportation and drainage, the design improves the flow of rainwater into the groundwater acquifers by the infiltration-detention-drainage systems. The design includes various methods to enhance infiltration. The design also eliminates the negative effect of rainwater on roadbed stability. This method is inexpensive, ecologically friendly, convenient construction, and applicable to many kinds of existing and future urban roads. |
