中文摘要In order to improve activity and decrease toxicity, searching for lead compounds with biological activity existed in the nature and modifying their structures is an important means of innovation of new drugs. Resveratrol, a phytoalexin isolated from grapes and other plants, is well-known for its potent chemopreventive properties towards the most severe contemporary human diseases, such as cancer, vascular disease, neurodegenerative disease and viral infection, etc. In recent years, more and more scientists modify the double bond or benzene ring of resveratrol to get higher activity, lower toxicity derivates. In this paper, the structure-activity relationships and pharmacological properties of the resveratrol derivatives as a potent chemopreventive agent are reviewed and discussed.
