中文摘要A theoretical model was proposed to calculate the lasing wavelength of free running ytterbium-doped fiber lasers. Based on this model, the relationship between lasing wavelength and fiber length, cavity loss, doping concentration as well as working temperature was obtained, which can help design tunable fiber lasers and fiber lasers with required lasing wavelengths. An approximation was introduced to deal with the temperature dependence of absorption and emission cross section of the doped fiber. . The applicability of this model was examined by comparing calculation results with published experiment data.
