中文摘要	1948年英国人H.Morrogh宣布,用铈制成了球墨铸铁,并成功的实现工业化生产。开辟了稀土在铸铁中应用的新纪元,也是铸铁发展史上的一个新的里程碑。六十年年来球铁发展显著,主要体现在五个方面:1.球铁产量成百倍的增加;2.球化理论日益完善,球化剂不断丰富;3.处理工艺逐渐完善;4.热处理技术控制铸铁基体保证获得高韧性和高强度球铁;5.应用范围空前扩大。球铁已成为国民经济建设与发展中不可缺少的材料,现在虽然面临各种新材料挑战,但仍有广阔的发展前景。; 1948 Englishman H.Morrogh declared that ductile iron produced with Ce has been got success- fully.This is new beginning of a new era of application of rare earths in cast iron and a new milestone in developed history of cast iron.Then ductile iron was produced with industrial scale.There are a lot of re- markable developments in sixty years as following:1 Production of ductile iron has increased over 100 times.2 The spheroidising theory for graphite in cast iron has been perfected day by day and the types of speroidisers are very plentiful,which can meet necessary for production of ductile iron 3 The treated pro- cedure for ductile iron has been improved more and more,4 Ductile irons with high strength and high e- longation can be got by heat treatment,5 The fields of application of ductile iron are expansion at un- precedented rate.Although there are a lot of competition from different new material,but the ductile iron still has very wide developing prospect.
