Base the requirement of china DTV, the technical group of Tsinghua University institutes the UTI standard. The UTI standard over USB 2.0 defined the interface protocol of CI mode, can fully support the CI mode, and also can support the cable operator developing multiplicate value -added services. The technical group of Tsinghua University has developed the first generation product and some cable operators have used it. The UTI will be the best choice of china DTV standard about CI mode.
