The code of CATHENA is used to analyse the characteristic of fluidic device: peak discharge flow rate, duration of high flow rate, minimum discharge flow rate. The calculated results show that the passive SIT meets its primary performance requirements. A comparison between the calculated results and the experimental data shows a good match, so CATHENA code can be used as a tool for conceptual design and accident analysis. |
