The project provides Utah with the opportunity to beneficially use a sizable portion of its allotted share of the Colorado River water, which also benefits to gather and distribute the water source in the Uintah and Bonneville Basins. It will play a significant role in meeting the municipal and industrial requirements of the most highly developed part of the State just as Salt Lake City. This article focuses on the project from the aspects of plan, development, management, benefits and so on, which is expected to afford some references to the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in our country. |
