中文摘要	随着多媒体和因特网技术的迅速发展,图像数据在不断增加,为了对这些图像进行更有效的管理和分析,帮助用户快速准确地找到所需内容的图像,基于内容的图像检索(CBIR)正成为当今多媒体技术研究的热点。本文采用基于小波变换的技术来提取图像的纹理特征,并使用支持向量机学习技术从图像数据库中检索出符合要求的图像,实验结果证明了所提出方法的有效性。; With the advances of the multimedia and Internet technologies,there has been an explosion in the amount of digital images,in order to manage and analyze these images effectively and help user retrieve their wanted images efficiently,the content-based image retrieval(CBIR) is becoming more and more active in multimedia research field.This paper extracts image's features based on wavelet transform and uses support vector machine(SVM) to retrieve images from image databases.The experiment results illustrate this approach is very effective.; 国家自然科学基金资助项目(60321002); 国家重点基础研究(973)项目(2004CB318108)
