This article affirms the fact that planning and design is serving as the core of the landscape architecture education. It introduces the coordinating role of planning and design in the curriculum system and methods for the spatial cognition and expression of landscape architecture. It also introduces the spatial layers and scale of landscape architecture in the design courses. Finally, it analyzes the reasons why people are not aware of the dominant role of planning and design and proposes the direction for teaching reform. |
