Wang Bo, an important poet of Early Tang, practiced the writing fashion that using Fu into poem when he lead a literature revolution, which made the seven-word ancient poetry developed vigorously in Early Tang. And as the forerunner of the seven-word ancient poetry writer, he made some contributions on the style standard of this kind poetry. Such as full of emotion flowery language clerer rhymes, uneven sentences and gracious musical beauty. But in fact the style standard has only a general meaning because the seven-word ancient poetry is a kind of free verse in essence. The most important characteristics of the seven-word ancient poetry is freedom, and which made it difficult to be defined. There are some inner resemble between the open and freedom characteristics of the poetry style and the characteristics of politics and culture of Tang Dynasty. And Wang Bo insisted on the characteristics of freedom when he wrote this kind of poetry. So he made special contributions in the vigorous and development of the seven-word ancient poetry in Early Tang and has an important meaning in open the Tang style aesthetics.
