中文摘要	20世纪80年代以来,随着认知语言学地位的确立,在语言学研究领域里,语言范畴化的研究得到了越来越多的重视。新世纪以来,理论语言学方面的范式变化、人类语言学研究中的最新发现、大脑与语言研究中的“认知革命”,为跨学科的语言学研究注入了新的活力,丰富了语言学研究的内容,扩展了语言学研究的疆域。在这种情况下,透过范畴化现象,通过社会认知研究,培养科学思维方式,提升研究水平,是一件有意义的工作。本文通过:1)何为范畴化?2)为什么需要范畴化研究?3)范畴化与方法论的关系怎样?4)如何培养科学的范畴化意识?等4个方面问题的讨论,提出一些观点,旨在促进新时期我国语言学研究。; Over the past decades, important breakthroughs in cognitive sciences, theoretic linguistics, anthropolinguistics, and brain studies have greatly enriched our understanding of the relationships between mind, cognition, culture, and language. To encourage more interdisciplinary communication and good research in linguistics, the present discusses the following questions that are related to categorization in general and scientific research in particular:1)What is categorization?2)Why do we need it in research?3)How is it related to methodology studies?4)How can this cognitive potential be better developed?
