中文摘要	本文采用调查问卷的形式抽样调查了大学非英语专业学生在英语学习中使用元认知策略的能力情况,发现多数学生在外语学习方法和心理上仍不具备自主学习者的能力,认为大多数外语学习者使用元认知策略的学习能力需要通过课堂训练获得。本文建议教师通过改变课堂教学模式,充分利用自学中心,训练学生正确地自我评估的能力,以培养大学英语学习者使用元认知策略的能力,学会管理自己的学习,从而培养其英语自主学习能力。; A survey conducted on non-English majors' use of metacognitive strategies has found that the college English learners do not often use those strategies. The results indicated that most of the students lacked sufficient methodological preparation and psychological preparation for autonomous EFL learning,and that the learners need classroom training to acquire the ability to use these strategies. This paper suggests that to develop the learners' ability to manage their own study, English teachers should use different teaching methods, make full use of self-access center, and train the learners to correctly assess their own study.; 清华大学985科研经费支持
