中文摘要	环境的意义是通过使个人化而产生的,即通过占有它、完成它、改变它而产生环境的意义。研究以使用者为认识主体的建成环境的意义,最终必然追究到使用者是如何认识环境并赋予环境意义的。在传统街区的特定背景下,这一“使用者”不仅包括建筑与建筑环境最初的建造者与使用者,也必须包括历代的改造者与使用者,而现今的使用者则更应着重研究。; The meanings that the environment presents come from individuation, that is to say, the meanings can be formed through the course of being seized, accomplished and shifted. An approach to researching the meanings of the built environment which are formed by users qua subject appeals to the way that the users perceive and endue the environment with meanings. In the context of a certain traditional block, the word "users" holds connotations of not only the original designers, builders and users, but also the later users and individuals who take alterations to the environment, and especially, the users in actual existence should be regarded more highly.
