中文摘要The steady-state somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) which represents brain activity can be recorded by repeated stimuli with a frequency domain analysis. A current stimulator whose intensity and frequency can be controlled accurately by a PC was designed to stimulate and measure the steady-state SEP. The steady-state SEP was then measured experimentally with a frequency domain analysis used to extract the steady-state SEP with only short deviation measurements in a noisy environment. This method is simpler and faster than traditional averaging methods. Faster steady state SEP measurements may prove useful for monitoring the SEP in operating rooms or intensive care units.
