中文摘要	The precise coronary arterial diameter measurement is the foundation for diagnosis and evaluation of coronary artery diseases. Using image processing techniques, the measurement of lumen diameter at a given coronary location is presented in this paper, which is with greater practical value than that of traditional percent stenosis. For statistical study, 103 cases were randomly selected, of which 51 patients were male and 52 were female. Lumen diameters were measured in 27 segments or major branches according to the guideline recommended by American Heart Association. The actual diameters in coronary segments were calculated using the scaled factor to the catheter. The mean and standard deviation of average diameter, midpoint diameter, coronary length and curvature were presented. The results were similar to that measured by autopsy. Our measured results could provide reference data in various pathological diagnoses, which is of great importance in quantitative coronary analysis.
