中文摘要The flow conditions between the Three Gorges dam and the Gezhouba dam were analyzed by solving the flow equations using a finite volume method in curvilinear coordinates with a collocated grid. The 3-D flow fields in simulated and natural bends were calculated using the SIMPLEC algorithm with momentum interpolation. The 3-D flow field in the simulated bend agrees well with experimental data with the results showing the 3-D flow characteristics in the bend with the secondary flow. The surface velocities point towards the concave bank while the bottom velocities point towards the convex bank.
