中文摘要Shear walls are important lateral load-resisting elements but the nonlinear dynamic behavior of shear walls is difficult to simulate appropriately. This paper presents a matrix analysis and parameter study of shear walls using the link element in SAP2000. A parameter defining method was developed for the link element nonlinear time-history analysis to determine the location of the shear spring, the linear effective stiffness and the force-displacement relationship for all springs in the link element. The nonlinear time-history responses of 3 isolated shear wall specimens agreed well with available experimental results. Therefore, the link element can accurately model the nonlinear properties of isolated shear walls.
