中文摘要A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model was used to simulate steady and unsteady flows in a large slanted axial pump at the Taipu River pumping station for near-zero head conditions. The simulations calculated the flow field, flow losses, unsteady flow fields and operating conditions. Tests show that the pump station runs steadily for the near-zero head condition and the simulations agree well with the experimental results, which verifies the method used to calculate the steady and unsteady flows and the theory used to analyze the hydraulic pressure pulse. The results also show that CFD analyses of large axial pump stations for near-zero head conditions can accurately predict the operating characteristics and steady operating conditions.
