中文摘要The activation of CaO particles with steam has been studied in recent years, the desulfurization reaction process and activation process happened independently. However, the reaction mechanism of steam contained in the flue gases desulfurization reactions should be investigated further and this is the main point of this paper. TGA experiments have been done from 300 degrees C to 900 degrees C, with 4 kinds of CaO particle samples, 2000 mu L/L SO/sub 2/ and the dry and wet air as balance respectively. The results revealed that the steam changed the reaction path and catalyzes the flue gas desulfurization reaction. Because the CaO samples cover the properties of analysis grade CaO particles and industrial grade CaO particles, the catalysis of steam on desulfurization reaction by CaO can be extended to industrial grade CaO particles.
