中文摘要	An individual configurator was firstly presented to meet the individual configuration requirements of the PDM system. And then, the workflow of the product configuration was analyzed. After fully considering the related requirement of the application department of design, manufacture and assembly, the rule-distilling model of individual configuration was advanced. Some related rough set methods of inadequate information were used, which could enable the users and marketing engineers to ensure relevant configuration rules. All the rules could help people to produce relevant product structure, while they were making individual product definition. Lastly, the essence step of such model was investigated, and one brief example of the application was presented.
