中文摘要An algorithm was given for surface generation for a fast tool servo for rotationally symmetric turning when the cutting tool was driven by a linear or rotary fast tool servo. The linear or rotary actuator is assumed to follow high-acceleration trajectories which has various effects on the turning machine. The results show that the rotary fast tool servo is better for machining non-rotationally symmetric surfaces with large amplitude. Usually, a non-rotationally symmetric surface is described by either discrete data or a mathematical function. The designs developed for both the linear and rotary tool paths based on the two kinds of descriptions provide the primary parameters for the design of fast tool actuators and their controllers.
