中文摘要Solutions of PEG/PBT turn into gels below 20 degrees C. Porous tubular scaffolds were manufactured by extruding the gel with thermally induced phase separation in a low-temperature extrusion process. The influence of manufacturing temperature on the porosity, morphology and mechanical properties of the tubular scaffolds was analyzed in detail. The porosities of scaffolds, fabricated in the low temperature process are up to 95% with pore sizes of 35-48 mu m. The elasticity module of the scaffolds is between 61.9-106 kPa. Tests show that the scaffolds have favorable biocompatibility with human salivary gland (HSG) cells, which means that the scaffolds have promising applications in salivary gland tissue engineering.
