中文摘要A rapid acquisition algorithm was developed to acquire rapidly changing global positioning system (GPS) signals. Current algorithms do not balance the acquisition speed and the hardware cost. A rapid acquisition algorithm was developed for low-cost GPS devices to improve parallel acquisition for dynamic GPS signals using a commercial GPS chipset, GP4000. The algorithm increases the acquisition efficiency by enlarging the frequency search step. Simulations and tests show that the algorithm effectively increases the frequency search bin, improves the satellite signal quality, and reduces the acquisition time.
