中文摘要	The induced radioactivity in an electron linac was analyzed using the Monte Carlo method and three traditional methods, the source term, the track-length calculation method, and the absorbed power scaling method, to calculate the saturation activity. These four methods were compared using a standard IAEA example. The results show that the Monte Carlo method more accurately models the reactions to calculate the direct and indirect radioactivity and that it is the simplest and most accurate of the four methods. The distribution of the saturation activity of the electron linac's tungsten target below 30 MeV was predicted using the Monte Carlo method. The results show that the saturation activity increases with increases of the electron beam energy and the tungsten target thickness. These results provide further insight into the induced radioactivity in electron linacs.
