中文摘要Fe/Ru multilayers were prepared by high-vacuum electron-gun evaporation system. The structure and magnetic properties of Fe/Ru multilayers were investigated. A metastable HCP Fe phase was obtained when t(Fe) less than or equal to 1.2 nm and t(Fe) less than or equal to 4.7 nm, for t(Ru) = 0.6 nm and t(Ru) = 4.0 nm samples, respectively. Magnetic measurement indicated that the metastable HCP Fe phase exhibited ferromagnetic behavior and Fe has a stable magnetic moment in the structural transforms to HCP. It is suggested that the lattice likeness between the BCC Fe (1 1 0) plane and Ru(0 0 1) plane favors the formation of metastable HCP Fe phase. A packing model of hexagonal Fe structure is adopted to explain the formation of the metastable HCP Fe phase and its ferromagnetism. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
