中文摘要The employment of aluminum alloy in buildings is a new trend in China. However, the research in China lags behind the western countries and there are few specific corresponding codes and specifications. And there is no systematic calculate methods now in China. This paper is focused on the bearing strength of bolted connection in aluminum and analyses the effects of edge distance to the bearing strength. In this paper, two widely used aluminum alloys are examined. The analysis is developed by means of finite element method simulation carried out with finite element program ANSYS. Based on analysis results, it presents the calculation formula for the bearing strength of bolted connection in aluminum.
