中文摘要A cloud point extraction process (CPE) utilizing polyoxyethylene 10 lauryl ether (C/sub 12/E/sub 10/) was developed to extract the diuretic, Furosemide. The effect of the concentrations of sodium sulfate, C/sub 12/E/sub 10/, and Furosemide as well as the temperature on the CPE behavior were investigated. The CPE process was improved by reducing the cloud point of the surfactant solution at ambient temperature with sodium sulfate. The preconcentration factor increases with the salt concentration, but the Furosemide extraction efficiency is independent of the salt concentration. Increasing the initial C/sub 12/E/sub 10/ concentration improves the extraction efficiency, but reduces the preconcentration factor by quickly increasing the coacervate phase mass. The tests also show that the preconcentration factor could be enhanced by increasing the temperature to 30 degrees C degrees 50 degrees C. A high preconcentration factor of 165.3 and coacervate to aqueous phase volume ratio of 0.0037 are achieved using 2 g middot L/sup -1/ C/sub 12/E/sub 10/ and 125 g middot L/sup -1/ sodium sulfate au 40 degrees C.
