中文摘要The generation of RSA key for smart cards is normally implemented in software, which at present is relatively slow. A new approach to VLSI implementation of RSA key generation is proposed in the paper, in which logic units are added to the RSA cryptography coprocessor to realize RSA key generation and encryption. This method greatly improves the overall performance of generating key pair, therefore it is well suited for smart card applications.
