中文摘要	Laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV) was used to measure the flow field in a cyclone separator with and without a reducing pressure drop stick (Repds) to explore the effect of the Repds on the flow field characteristics. The distributions of the mean velocity, root mean square (RMS) velocity, and Reynolds stress are presented. The results show that the effects of the Repds on the time-averaged characteristics of the flow field are similar to previous results, while the effects of the Repds on the turbulent characteristics are related to the size of the Repds. In the range of the studied Repds sizes, the Repds with smaller cross sections reduce the turbulence in most flow fields, while Repds with larger cross sections increase the turbulence. The mechanism by which the Repds affects the turbulence is also analyzed.
