中文摘要False locks can occur in global positioning systems (GPS) when tracking the GPS carrier frequency using an automatic frequency control (AFC) loop. A method is given to detect and correct false locks in noisy environment based on changes in the pre-correlation results. Simulation results show that the method can immediately detect false lock just after the AFC algorithm and modify the tracking frequency to the right point within 1-2 navigation data bits. Tests also show that the scheme is easily realized and effectively avoids the extra tracking time caused by false locks.
