中文摘要The calculational efficiency of Monte Carlo simulations of the correction process in particle detectors is improved by a method that makes more particles arrive at the detector and collide with it. The method combines correlated sampling on the MCNP-4C platform with variance reduction techniques, Dxtran spheres and force collisions. A simple model used to calculate the detector correction factors was compared with four different simulation techniques combined with correlation sampling. The results show the figure of merit (FOM) of each variance reduction technique with correlated sampling was improved. The new method's FOM was larger than those of all the other methods by two orders of magnitudes.
