中文摘要It is proposed a new stability margin index for evaluating the severity of single branch instability contingencies and a new sensitivity method for preventive control of this kind of contingencies. Severe branch contingencies can result in the immediate instability in a real power system. There is a virtual static stability critical point corresponding to each unstable branch contingency in branch parameter space. This paper presented a sensitivity method at this kind of critical point and used it to obtain the preventive control strategy. The equivalent control effect as the one based on the sensitivity at a critical point in the load/generation space is obtained. Case studies with a practical 600-bus power system indicate that the proposed linear sensitivity method is effective.
