中文摘要An uncoded spatial multiplexing (SM) system with linear receiver is considered in this paper. By deriving and optimizing the average bit error rate for each sub-stream when fading correlation is determinate, an antenna selection criterion with rate and power allocation is developed which minimizes the transmit power while satisfying the required spectrum efficiency and average bit error rate. Simulation results show that the proposed criterion outperforms previous antenna and constellation selection method with a 2-dB improvement in signal to noise ratio. A low complexity algorithm without an exhaustive search is then given which results in the same performance as the exhaustive search in most cases.
