中文摘要To increase the accuracy of magnetic flux leakage (MFL) detection measurements in oil and gas pipelines, the fluctuating distance between the sensor and the pipeline surface (liftoff) should be reduced while maintaining the necessary measurement sensitivity. The factors affecting the liftoff were analyzed with a method to avoid the effect of fluctuations of the liftoff by improving the MFL detector magnetic circuit design. The results were verified by numerical simulations, which show that this method significantly increases the measurement sensitivity with the signal-to-noise ratio increased at least 30%. The method can be used to optimize the detector structure to increase MFL detection measurement accuracy.
