中文摘要 | An efficient admission control algorithm was developed to improve the long-term performance and bandwidth utilization of 802.16 wireless metropolitan area network systems for the four-type service connections in the standard. The algorithm reserves some bandwidth for real-time handover connections and reduces the bandwidth of non-real-time polling service (nrtPS) connections to the minimum reserved traffic rate requirement according to the priorities by bandwidth borrowing. Thus, the base station can accept more four-type service connections to maximize bandwidth utilization. Simulations show that the algorithm reduces the blocking probability of real-time handover connections and improves system bandwidth utilization and transmission capability of the nrtPS connections. |
