中文摘要	The single crate readout system is a sub-system of the data acquisition system of BESIII, which is a large high-energy physics detector on the BEPCII. The hardware components in the system are the readout PC, the VME crate, the MVME5100 and MVME2431, and the control and readout boards. The system functions include real time read outs of the physical data through the DMA/CBLT, preliminary assembling and processing of data, transmission of data to the readout PC through the network, and interfacing with the run-control system. This article describes the methods and procedures used to successfully implement the system for the BESIII performance requirement.
