中文摘要	With the progressive development of EMS in scale and function, the openness of EMS is becoming increasingly important. It is necessary to realize seamless connection not only among internal modules of EMS, but also between EMS and other systems provided by different vendors. Soft-bus is one of the key modules for an open EMS. Here, an EMS soft-bus, which is based on the standard of IEC 61970 and common object request broker architecture (CORBA), is researched. The implementation of soft-bus can be divided into two parts. One is the data storage platform for common information model (CIM), in which both real-time database and commercial relational database can be adopted. Another is the implementation of the specified interface, which is described in IEC61970-4xx. Finally, an open soft-bus for EMS supporting component interface specification (CIS) is implemented and its practicality is verified by the interoperation test organized by National Power Dispatching & Communication Centre of China.
