中文摘要Current wireless local area networks (WLAN) are still predominantly data centric, so they are not well equipped to meet the pressing voice capacity and quality of service (QoS) demands when transmitting voice over IP (VoIP) traffic. The voice capacity of WLAN is related to the speech coding schemes, header compression, network protocols, etc. The WLAN voice capacity can be improved by more than 20% by increasing the length of the voice frame and adopting a priority dynamically adjusting scheme. These solutions are simple and can be implemented easily to increase the WLAN voice capacity.
