中文摘要With the increasing requirements of mass data storage and the development of the hardware technology of computer architecture, active storage becomes a crucial research topic. How to utilize the computation power on the future storage device to provide high performance computation and data access has been a hot and challenging task. This paper brings forward the research on the architecture of active storage based on object interface. A new computation and data access model of active storage device is presented, whose interface combines the storage object and application object employing embedded computation power. With the movement of partial computation and storage management onto this kind of device, the performance of massive and parallel data-intensive application can be improved remarkably.
