中文摘要Background:Sensory gating is the ability of the brain to modulate the sensitivity for incoming stimuli.P50 suppression in double-click paradigm is used to probe the gating effect. Hippocampus is regarded to be critical in modulating sensory gating process in the brain. Abundant neural circuits project from ears to both sides of auditory cortexes.Our objective was to find whether P50 suppression could across hemisphere to influence cotralateral auditory cortex and hippocampus.
