A distribution model for indoor airborne particulates based on computational fluid dynamics method

英文摘要In order to optimize the place location of indoor environmental monitor and air purifier devices, a simulated model for indoor airborne particulates was proposed in this paper. A 5000 mm×2500 mm× 2500 mm room with an air-condition was chosen, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method was adopted and the air continuous phase was calculated, and the distribution of indoor airborne particulates was simulated by adding discrete phase. The results show that the distribution of airborne particulate is influenced both by airflow and temperature. The deposited particles after a period movement can aggravate the uneven distribution of airborne particulates. The uneven distribution of indoor airborne particulates causes the measured inaccuracy of environmental quality monitor devices. The measured accuracy could be improved when an appropriate area (X (-2200mm-2200mm), Y (-1250mm-100mm), Z (500mm-2200mm)) exclude the area (X (-2000mm-(-1800mm)), Y (-1000mm-0mm), Z (1000mm-1800mm)) is set to place the environmental quality monitor devices.
